What are the benefits of mediation?

Mediation is a free, voluntary, and neutral process in which all parties have equal voice and work together to reach their own resolution.  There is no determination of fault.  Most mediations are completed in a single session, saving time and resources.  The process encourages open communication in a confidential setting, helping participants better understand concerns, identify underlying issues, and find mutually acceptable solutions.
