Can exempt employees receive compensatory time?

Yes. Exempt employees who are not categorized as executive level by the Commissioner may be granted hour-for-hour compensatory time for hours worked beyond their regular thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hour weekly schedule.

Any exceptions must be approved by the Departments of Finance and Administration and Human Resources.
