Does parental leave run at the same time as FMLA?

Yes. If leave qualifies for parental leave, paid parental leave, and/or FMLA, the leave counts against the employee’s entitlement under any applicable laws. Parental leave, paid parental leave, and FMLA leave shall run concurrently to the extent permitted by law.
