Who can donate sick leave to another state employee?

Any state employee may donate sick leave to another employee who qualifies for donated leave. Donors do not have to be members of the Sick Leave Bank or work in the same agency as the recipient.

To donate, an employee must give at least five (5) days of sick leave (37.5 hours for a 7.5-hour schedule or 40 hours for an 8-hour schedule).

The total sick leave an employee may donate during state employment is limited to ninety (90) days.
