How much donated sick leave can an employee receive?

  • An employee may receive up to 90 days of donated leave within a 12-month period.
  • The total maximum for a state career is 120 days.
  • The first 12-month period begins when the employee first receives donated leave.
  • A new 12-month period begins once the SLB certifies the employee has used all available SLB grants and remains medically unable to work.
