Can my sick leave transfer if I move to another state agency or school?

Yes. Sick leave earned while working for any state agency, department, college, university, or state-operated technical school is fully transferable between those entities.

Employees transferring from a local Tennessee school system may also transfer their earned sick leave when becoming a state employee. This does not apply to substitute teachers.
