Yes. Within a 12-month period:
- Up to 25 hours of administrative leave with pay for initial foster parent training
- Up to 8 hours of administrative leave with pay for annual in-service training
The Department of Children’s Services documents completion and returns the form to the employee’s agency.
Recordkeeping: FPTR (Foster Parent Training) or FPIS (Foster Parent In-Service).
