What is Pay for Performance (P4P)?

Pay for Performance (P4P) is a merit-based pay system that rewards employees for above-average performance. It aims to improve efficiency and encourage participation in programs that enhance job performance and skills.

 

Key Details:

  • Employees must receive a performance rating of "Meets Expectations," "Exceeds Expectations," or "Exceptional" during their Annual Review to qualify for a performance reward.
  • P4P is governed by DOHR Policy 12-064.
