Interim Reviews are periodic discussions between Tennessee State Government employees and their supervisors during the performance cycle. These reviews are part of the Performance Management program and serve to evaluate progress, provide constructive feedback, and coach employees toward achieving their goals.
Key Features:
- Frequency: At least two Interim Reviews are required during the performance cycle, but more can be conducted if needed.
- Purpose: Supervisors and employees discuss work achievements, behavioral expectations, and areas for improvement.
- Employee Input: Employees are encouraged to add comments about their work achievements and demonstration of competencies.
Interim Reviews help ensure alignment with the Individual Performance Plan (IPP) and prepare employees for their Annual Review at the end of the cycle.
