Appeal rights during probation depend on the type of probation:
- Initial Probation (first 12 months of State employment):
- Employees do not have appeal rights if terminated during this period.
- Subsequent Probation (due to promotion into a new role):
- Employees do have appeal rights if terminated during this period.
