If you plan to resign or retire from Tennessee State Government, you should:
- Provide a two-week notice to your supervisor.
- Fill out the Notice of Resignation/Retirement Form.
- Submit a signed resignation letter to your HR office.
Additionally, work with your supervisor to wrap up projects, transfer knowledge, and arrange the return of State-issued equipment. Retirees may keep their State ID badge but must return all other equipment.
