Do you hire applicants with a criminal background?

Tennessee State Government offers many positions open to applicants with criminal backgrounds. However, for security reasons, our law enforcement-type positions are unavailable to those with a criminal background.

If a position requires a background check, it will be listed in the job posting's Necessary Special Qualifications (NSQs) section.
