No. Veterans’ Preference does not guarantee a second-round interview.

Eligible veterans who meet the minimum qualifications for a position must be invited to interview when interview invitations are extended. Advancement to additional interviews or selection stages is based on the applicant’s qualifications, skills, abilities, competencies, and knowledge.

Veterans’ Preference does not guarantee selection for a position.
