Does PFL have to be taken consecutively?

No, the leave does not have to be taken consecutively. Employees may take intermittent absences as Paid Family Leave (PFL), provided the employee’s absence qualifies for PFL and complies with the notice requirements to their employer, who is provided advance notice of any PFL absences.
