How does a supervisor determine an employee’s work schedule and shift for leave reporting?

Supervisors must:

•    determine the employee’s work schedule
•    determine the employee’s daily shift (the start and end times for the workday)

If a shift begins on one day and ends on another, the hours should be recorded on the day when the majority of the shift occurs.
