How is the value of compensatory time calculated?

For non-exempt employees, the value of compensatory time is the higher of:

•    the employee’s average rate over the last three (3) years of employment, or
•    the employee’s regular hourly rate in the state service agency at the time of transfer

For exempt employees, the value is based on the employee’s regular hourly rate in the state service agency at the time of transfer.
