What does “two days of the maximum” mean for annual leave?

“Two days” means:

•    15.0 hours for employees working 37.5 hours per week
•    16.0 hours for employees working 40.0 hours per week
•    A different amount may be approved for public safety employees on authorized work cycles

Service groups change on the first day of the month, so the maximum for your group on that date determines whether annual leave or compensatory leave must be used first for the pay period.
