How does extended leave affect probation, service, and pay increases?

Employees on extended leave without pay for most of a calendar month do not earn sick or annual leave for that month.

Their probationary period end date and anniversary dates for service, longevity pay, and salary adjustments are adjusted to reflect the unpaid leave period.
