Educational leave with pay helps employees grow and improve State service by:
- Providing education and training to increase job proficiency and improve service quality for customers and stakeholders.
- Helping employees meet qualifications in critical occupational and professional fields.
- Offering opportunities for continuing education or advanced study to stay current with technological changes.
Employees, in consultation with their agency, may choose among the following options:
full-time education, part-time education, short-term learning, or after-hours education.
