If details of an employee’s FMLA leave change (for example, the leave shifts from paid to unpaid), the FMLA Coordinator must update the employee in writing within two (2) business days of learning of the change.
For example:
If an employee’s paid FMLA leave ends and unpaid leave begins, the employee must be informed they are now responsible for paying their portion of health insurance premiums.
