Yes. For pregnancy or chronic or long-term medical conditions, the FMLA Coordinator may request recertification no more than once every 30 days, unless:
• The circumstances described have changed significantly, or
• There is reason to doubt the reason for the absence.
If the minimum duration listed on the certification is more than 30 days, the Coordinator may not request recertification until that time has passed—unless one of the above exceptions applies.
For employees taking intermittent leave for pregnancy or chronic conditions, recertification cannot be requested before the time period stated in the original certification unless one of the same exceptions applies.
