What notice must employees give before returning to work from FMLA leave?

Employees are not required to take more leave than needed under FMLA.
If an employee plans to return to work earlier than expected, they must give the FMLA Coordinator at least two (2) business days’ notice of the change.
This allows the appointing authority time to restore the employee to their former or an equivalent position.
