How does Paid Parental Leave apply to Parental Leave?

Employees eligible for Paid Parental Leave (see Section 13.02) may receive up to six (6) workweeks of paid leave for birth or adoption.
Any additional parental leave beyond the six paid weeks requires employees to use accrued leave first or go on unpaid leave, while still having the option to hold up to 10 days of annual, compensatory, or sick leave as outlined in Section 6.12.
