How is leave accrued and adjusted between 37.5- and 40-hour schedules?

Leave is tracked in hours based on your schedule.

• 1 day = 7.5 hours (37.5-hour week)
• 1 day = 8.0 hours (40-hour week)

If your authorized schedule changes, your leave hour balance is adjusted:

• 7.5 → 8.0 hours: hours × 1.0667 (because 8.0/7.5 = 1.0667)
  • Example: 231.5 × 1.0667 ≈ 249.9 hours
• 8.0 → 7.5 hours: hours × 0.9375 (because 7.5/8.0 = 0.9375)
  • Example: 231.5 × 0.9375 ≈ 217.0 hours
