Which employees can accrue leave?

  • Full-time employees with regular, temporary, provisional, or interim appointments
  • Full-time temporary employees after 6 months of active service (each temp period is counted separately)
  • Part-time or seasonal employees scheduled for 1,600+ hours in a fiscal year
  • Employees moving into a full-time emergency or temporary role without a break in service
