Some agencies require irregular or flexible schedules due to business needs.
- Supervisors may adjust start/end times or workdays with approval from the appointing authority.
- Flex time and compressed work weeks are also allowed with approval.
- Any schedule totaling more than 37.5 hours per week must be approved by the Commissioners of Human Resources and Finance & Administration.
Employees must return to a regular schedule when:
- Using extended annual, sick, or compensatory leave
- On extended leave without pay
- Receiving pay through the Sick Leave Bank
