What are the standard office hours for Tennessee State Government agencies?

Most state offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., local time, Monday through Friday. Offices close on Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.

Some offices may have different hours depending on their work or customer needs.

Work schedules:

• Standard: 7.5 hours per day / 37.5 hours per week
• Alternate: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

The same attendance rules apply to all full-time schedules.
