No. The Acknowledge & Sign on the Paper or Special Case I-9v is for the employee only. If an Agency I-9 Coordinator attempts to sign, the system will display an error message.
Resolution:
If the employee is present: Have the employee enter their Edison Login ID and Edison Password using the Agency I-9 Coordinator’s keyboard to complete Acknowledge & Sign. Do not enter your own credentials on the employee’s behalf.
If the employee is not present: Continue without the Acknowledge & Sign. This field is optional on the Paper or Special Case I-9v, and the agency may proceed using the employee’s information and documents.
