Who must use E-Verify?

All E-Verify employers must create a case for each new hire by the 3rd business day after their first day of paid work.

All Team Act agencies must utilize the I-9 functionality within Edison and may not utilize department created E-Verify accounts. Non-Team Act agencies that utilize Edison for employee data are encouraged to use the I-9 functionality, but it is not required.
