Am I eligible to use the SLB for my child?

Yes, you may use the Sick Leave Bank (SLB) for your minor child.

The SLB provides paid sick leave to members who are medically certified as unable to perform their duties due to their own illness or their minor child's illness. A minor child is defined as a biological, adopted, foster child, stepchild, legal ward, or child of a person standing in place of an absent parent who is under 18 years old.
